The minutes include regular reports of the Medical Superintendent which detail total patient numbers for the various divisions of the hospital (including noted increases and instances of overcrowding), total admissions, transfers, discharges and deaths, information on general health, dates of visitations to the institution (including names of visitors), numbers of patients on license, names of absconders, names of those returned under license, numbers employed in domestic work, educational programmes, and information concerning hospital staff. In addition, there are reports of Visitors of the Board of Control who visited the hospital, information relating to individual staff appointments, reports of the Deputy Clerk and Steward of Coleshill Hall, and other related correspondence and papers. |
