| Description | Minute volumes indexed. The minutes are printed and signed by the committee Chairman. The minutes are in uniformly titled minute volumes. The minutes include the reports of the Special Sub-Committee for the Constitution of the Sub-Committees, information relating to financial matters, such as accounts, budgets and income and expenditure sheets, information relating to sub-committee officials and employees of hospitals, and details of other administrative business relating to buildings, equipment and maintenance. The minute volumes include the interleaved reports of the various sub-committees, most notably the Maintenance and Settlement Sub-Committee (see BCC/1/CD/4) and the Central Relief Sub-Committee (see BCC/1/CD/5), as well as those for individual hospitals (see below). The minutes and related papers include the individual names of children and babies who were boarded out or emigrated. |
