| AdminHistory | This sub-committee constituted the same Sub-Committee that had served the Public Health and Maternity and Child Welfare Committee, with the same constitution and function, just a new minute sequence (see BCC/1/BM/8). Its purpose was to consider questions relating to the Council Hospitals and Sanatoria and the convalescent homes at Wassell Grove and Oaklands. With the transfer of these institutions to the National Health Service in July 1948, or to other Council committees, this Sub-Committee was disestablished in June that year. |
