| AdminHistory | This sub-committee constituted the same sub-committee that had served the Public Health and Maternity and Child Welfare Committee, with the same constitution and function, just a new minute sequence (see BCC 1/BM/13). Its purpose was to administer the Tuberculosis Centre at Broad Street, the Mass Radiography Centre, the Corporation Sanatoria, and any other Corporation interest in the disease, as well as staffing and building issues for these properties. After July 1948, the National Health Service took over the centres, and the sub-committee effectively ceased, with any remaining duty transferred to the Tuberculosis (Domiciliary and After Care) Sub-Committee (see BCC 1/CS/10). |
