| AdminHistory | The Finance and General Purposes Sub-Committee was formed at the same time as the Welfare Committee. It had the dual responsibility of advising the main committee on all its financial matters, its expenses, the management of its funds and the reclaiming of maintenance charges, and also acting as a general purpose panel, to consider and report on any matter laid before it by the main committee. Matters placed before it related mainly to staffing matters and appointments, but some general building and office matters were included, such as garages and office furnishing and equipment. |
