AdminHistoryThis committee was originally named the Pollution of the River Tame Committee, but changed its name at its second meeting in May 1922. This was an executive committee appointed by the Tame Basin Joint Committee (see BCC 1/EM) to actually organise and carry out pollution control work on the River Tame. The committee was disbanded sometime around March 1950, and its functions were transferred to the River Boards, in compliance with the River Boards Act of 1948.
