Part 4, "Mercurius Belgicus: or, A briefe chronology of the battels, sieges, conflicts, and other most remarkable passages from the beginning of this rebellion, to the 25th. of March, 1646" has separate dated title page; it is unpaginated; register is continuous.; Parts 1 and 2, by Bruno Rvyes, were originally published at Oxford as 21 separate newsbooks between 20 May 1643 and 16 March 1644. "Querela Cantabrigiensis" is attributed to John Barwick and may have also been issued separately in 1646 (Wing B1010). The portion of text of "Mercurius Belgicus" which is printed on quires X7-8 Y-Z[sup]8 3A[sup]8 3B1-2 was first published in 1645 as part of "Englands Iliads in a nut-shell" by Sir George Wharton (Wing W1544). It differs from the text of part 4, "Micro-chronicon", printed in the collected edition of 1648 (Wing R2446), though the events chronologized are almost identical.; Other issues include half-sheets inserted between S4 and S5 and between X3 and X4.
