Baskerville created 3 Octavo editions of the book of Common Prayer.
The first edition was set in long lines of Great Primer ( a large font size (18 points) that was used in the printing of English Bibles and other large-format books also sometimes known as Bible text). There were 2 impressions one with and one without a border round each page using a "lozenge and star" ornament typical of Baskerville's style.

It was originally published at 6s. 6d with later title pages subsituted later in 1760 and 1761
