| Description | As their name suggests, the minutes indexes contain details on many of those issues discussed within the Guardians' committees during this period. These include the founding of committees, the appointment of Union officials, and any major items of business. Rather than giving precise page details for the committees' minute books, the indexes give the dates that decisions were made and, with the creation of new sub-committees, the name of the committee responsible for them. In many cases the names of committees are abbreviated, and can be difficult to follow.
