| Description | As stated above, following the amalgamation of the Aston, King's Norton and Birmingham Unions in 1912, the administration of the children's homes was handled by the Children's Homes (later the Children's) committee. Within it, each of the three institutions had their own sub-committees, which reported back to the Children's Homes/Children's committee.
The Marston Green Homes sub-committee continued to deal with all aspects of the cottage homes' administration, as the Management committee had done before it (see GP B/2/6/2, above). Again, issues such as the appointment of officials within the homes, and details of individual children are contained within the minutes. |
