| Description | As its name suggests, this volume was an index for the Ledgers for 1915. It appears to be primarily concerned with the sums spent on those individuals maintained in the Union's workhouses, homes and hospitals, including Western Road House, the Monyhull colony, and the cottage homes. The ledgers to which the index refers (volumes 13 and 14) do not survive but it nevertheless remains useful. Alongside the page number of the relevant ledger, and the date of the transaction, the index also gives the individual's name, age, and date of admission. The index covers transactions made during the period 1915-1918, although some of the individuals could have been admitted some time before this. |
