| Description | These volumes detail the receipts and expenditure of the Birmingham Union during the period 1822 to 1839. Each page is divided into sections according to the various departments of the union - these include the Poor House department, the Out Poor department, and the Bastardy department. These are then sub-divided into the various categories of income to or expenditure from the union. Periodically, summaries of the previous year's accounts are also given. As with the Loan Account volumes above, the volumes are not indexed. |
