| Description | After the Government Report on Hospital Administration and Management the divisional system was set up in the United Birmingham Hospitals in 1968. The Division of Paediatrics first met in June 1969 after which time the Medical Staff Committee met infrequently. By 1992 the Medical Staff Committee was said to 'seldom meet', most matters being dealt with by the Division of Paediatrics. In June 1992 the Division of Paediatrics was renamed The Children's Hospital Medical Staff Committee. |
