| Description | The chapel at the Birmingham Children's Hospital was established by 1920 and licensed for public worship from 1925. However, children had been baptised there from 1922. The chapel was inter-denominational, the registers containing entries made by ministers from the Anglican, Roman Catholic, Methodist, Presbytarian and Congregational churches. A considerable number of baptisms were also performed by nursing staff, some of which are marked 'in emergency'. |
