DescriptionThe Christian Kunzle Alpine Home at the Chateau-Bruxelles, Davos Dorf, Switzerland, was a home for the treatment of children with chest illnesses. It was established by Mr Christian Kunzle, chocolate manufacturer of Birmingham and President of the Birmingham Children's Hospital. Many children sent from Birmingham to Davos were sponsored by the 'NigNogs', members of the Birmingham Evening Despatch Children's Ring.
