She reflects on how working with very sick children meant she lost perspective of well children and that this triggered her to work as a volunteer with the Scouts. She talks of undertaking her Masters and her PhD and her move into lecturing and research and her continuing commitment to improving thel ives of children, especially those with disabilities. |
