There are several loose documents enclosed with the minutes:

p 47, Report of Council 1860, which notes that the separation of the boys' school from the girls' school is planned to take place on 1 May 1860.

p 397, correspondence between the Congregation and the City of Birmingham Education Office concerning numbers of staff at the Hebrew School: the Education Office has ruled that there are too many staff and orders the school to dismiss one of the teachers; the Congregation disagrees and explains why staff numbers should stay the same, 2 November 1923 - 29 November 1923

p 400, Letter from P Innes, Chief Education Officer to Dr A Cohen concerning the retirement and replacement of teachers, 7 December 1923

p 412, Letter from PHB Inglis, Secretary, Board of Education, enclosing a report about the Hebrew School, 25 November 1926

p 422, Letter from FE Cotton to Dr A Cohen concerning the dismissal of the Hebrew School's caretaker, 17 March 1927

p 505, Letter to Dr A Cohen from the Education Officer, Joint Emergency Committee for Jewish Religious Education in Great Britain, enclosing a document entitled 'Memorandum on the Problem of Jewish Non-provided Schools', 9 February 1943.

JA/1/C/6 includes rough minutes of the Foundation Managers' Committee, which duplicate the fair copy minutes.
