This is a revised edition of Kempson's map of 1808, incorporating the additions made for Wrightson's Directory, 1818, including Roman Catholic Chapel (Shadwell Street), Meeting (Newhall Street), St. Philip's Rectory and the Court of Requests. Some streets unnamed in the earlier editions are now named, and additional streets are shown, including Frederick Street, Martin Street, Regents Place, St Peters Row, St Martins Place, Nelson Street, Princep [Princip] Street, Brearley Street and Tower Street.
Additional buildings shown on this edition include New Union Mill, Union Brewery and Gas Works.
