| AdminHistory | The Northfield Survey Group was formed in 1954 under the presidency of Mrs Ethel Adair Impey, who remained President until 1961. The Group had developed from a class run first at Tinkers Farm School by Mrs Cliff, then by the extra-mural department of Birmingham University under M. Stedman. The aim was to record information on old Northfield, which was rapidly disappearing as a result of the development of the village and farm lands in the area. |
