Applicant overview: The BCA was established to promote the benefit of the Sparkhill, Sparkbrook, Small Heath and Bordesley areas of Birmingham by associating with local authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare and recreation. Nature of support: In 1992 a grant of £5,000 was approved for two years. This offer was subject to a performance review after twelve months.
