Applicant overview: The WLDF was set up to provide a service to women who wish to challenge sex discrimination and unequal pay, by legal means. These women are advised and encouraged in their legal actions. Clients are offered a variety of services from basic advice and information to case preparation and representation. WLDF became a registered charity in 1988. Nature of support: In 1989 the Trust approved a grant of £50,000 to be paid over four years.
