Applicant overview: The PLP is a national voluntary organisation set up in September 1990 to provide services in the field of public law to people who would not otherwise have access to them because of poverty, discrimination, or other social disadvantage. The Project delivers a series of services including, 1) research and the publication of findings, 2) the provision and dissemination of information, 3) advice on the public law implications of primary and delegated legislation, 4) assistance to other organisations on public law issues, 5) litigation in appropriate cases, and 6) advocacy within and outside the courts.
