Applicant overview: CAWCA came about through meetings of Asian women to combat the isolation of the permanent Asian community in the Craigavon area. CAWCA was formally established in 1987 and moved into premises in Legahory in 1991. CAWCA aims to provide lay health services, school education and training of children, youth education programmes as well as networking, public relations and development work.
