| Description | This volume records provisions that the school had - in a similar style to a cash book, recording food coming in and food going out (i.e. being consumed). Annual summaries of provisions received appear at random intervals. Later in the volume, it has been used in a similar style to a ledger, but where a company name would usually appear, there is the name of the food item. E.g. there will be a folio for 'meat' and on this page will be a list of meat received from various suppliers. At the rear of the volume is an incomplete index by name to page numbers. Also at the rear there are a few folios for the Blue Coat School in account with others for 'strikes of malt'. |
