| Description | This volume is a ledger, split into different expenditure areas, e.g. 'Annuities', 'Rent charge', 'deposit account', 'bankers charges' etc. with dates and what has been bought. This volume is indexed alphabetical by expenditure area. At the rear of the volume there are annual accounts for 'the governors of the Birmingham Blue Coat School with the subscribers' for the years 1903 to 1924. The annual accounts list income and expenditure with the corresponding folio number next to the entries, e.g. the table lists total expenditure on 'stationery printing and school materials' and gives the folio number (in this case, 124). |
