| Description | This volume records 'charge of housekeeping at the charity school containing such things the Blue children only partake of.' That is, it records money spent on things like: shoes made and mended, cloth for shirts, yarn for stockings, etc. with dates and costs, totals and number of blue children. The volume also records details of what has been 'expended' and what remains left over. Later in the volume, there are accounts of 'charge of housekeeping common to both blue and green children' recording the same as the earlier accounts. The front of the volume encloses some loose sheets of the accounts, suggesting that they are pages that have come loose from the volume. |
