| AdminHistory | Edward Wyon was apprenticed to Ralph Heaton and Sons in approximately 1857. He was sent overseas by the company on a number of occasions to supervise the erection of foreign mints - to Marseilles in 1857, to Burma in 1864, to Bogata in 1881 (Columbia) and to Canton in 1888.
