DescriptionIn addition to Gough holdings the volume covers those of John Baddily, Miss Burton, Revd. Mr. Cox, Late Edward Crofts, Thomas Gooch, William Jennens and Penn Ashton Curzon, Late John Parrot, William Russel, Thomas Russel, William Scott, Revd. Smallbrook D.D., Vicar of Edgbaston, Richard Walters, Roads and Waste, and Moore.
Each map plate drawn facing corresponding survey information. Maps begin with the Gough holdings with Edgbaston Park placed foremost and thence move outwards. Maps include roads, field boundaries, field name or schedule number, building name or schedule number, owner/occupier of adjacent plots, water courses and pools, scale and compass rose. Each schedule lists unique schedule number, occupiers name, type or name of building or field, gross area and clear area in acres, roods and perchs, and 'situation' [a red ink reference code referring to quadrants of MS 2126/3/5c/3]
Followed by sections entitled 'Estates of other Proprietors, Public Roads, Sir Henry Gough[(-Calthorpe)]'s [3] Estates Collected, Estates of other Proprietors Collected, Totals Collected [for whole parish.]' The collected sections comprise summary lists of land acreage totals which are arranged alphabetically by owner and occupier names. Scale: 4 in to 20 or 30 chains.

Note: It is conjectured that this volume may have been commissioned to facilitate planning the development of the estate as a suburban area. It dates from the year following of the first known building lease which is at MS 2126/3/5d/2/A/1786/2.
