AdminHistoryAfter a six week residency commissioned by EMACA (East Midlands Afro Caribbean Arts) Visual Arts, Nottingham, the photographic works contained in this series were exhibited at the ACFF (Association of Caribbean Families and Friends) Centre Nottingham in 1993. The title of the exhibition refers to the original length of stay allowed by the work visas issued to people coming to Britain from the Caribbean, who only expected to stay for 5 years, but in many cases have stayed for their lifetimes instead.
