| AdminHistory | Vanley Burke was commissioned by Optima housing association with a writer - Jackie Guy - to document the lives and aspirations of residents of the Lee Bank estate in Birmingham, at a time when the housing blocks were being redeveloped. Vanley Burke took photographs and Jackie Guy interviewed the residents. The exhibition can now be viewed online at http://www.digital-ladywood.org.uk/. There is a possibility that prints of the images may be deposited in the future. |
