Interior view taken from back of chapel in new General Hospital. A note on the back of the photograph states that the Derbyshire alabaster lining the walls was given by the late Mrs J.G. Holder of Pitmaston, Birmingham; the oak seats by Mrs Clarke of Handsworth; the cushions and hassocks by Mrs A.A. Ellis of Kings Norton; the lectern by Mrs Gilbert-Barling of Birmingham; the altar cloth by Miss Mayne nee Holder; the pulpit and west window memorial of the late Mr T. Bartlett, surgeon at the hospital for 24 years.
