| Description | Photographed by W.T. Jones. A note on the back of the photograph reads: 'A "nick" bridge near Kingswood. These are peculiar to this canal. They are accommodation bridges (linking land which had been separated when the canal was cut) and span the canal only. The towing path goes round the bridge. The bridge is built of iron plates with a three inch gap through which the rope is passed when a barge goes underneath'. |
