| Description | This series consists of a number of play scripts used by John English throughout his career. Most of the scripts are annotated by English and contain production notes. The scripts are organised alphabetically by the name of the play. It is likely the preponderance of these scripts were used in productions staged by the Arena Theatre Company and the Highbury Players though it is not always apparent when these plays were performed or by whom. The date ranges given in each entry may refer to the date the script was published, the date it was annotated or the date of the performance depending on what information is available. |
