| Description | Letters from James Lawson from 1793 to 1795. Lawson was one of Boulton & Watt’s longest-serving and most experienced engine erectors and engineers. Many of these letters are written from Manchester and the North West, where Lawson was Boulton & Watt’s agent. However Lawson spent the latter half of 1795 in London working on various engines.
