| Description | Letters from George and John Rennie from 1831 to 1837. George and John Rennie carried on their father John’s business after his death in 1821. There are also letters from George and John’s assistants T. W. Miller, Gideon Scott, George Lewin and J. Cunningham.
The letters are addressed Boulton Watt & Co. and James Watt Jr. There are also letters addressed to James Brown of Boulton Watt & Co.’s London office. Brown forwarded these letters to Soho. One letter is also addressed to Gilbert Hamilton, head of the Drawing Office.
