| Description | James Law and [John?] Holt have done their work so well that the engine exceeded his expectations on the first trial. Hopes it will be perfected in 2 or 3 days. Would like to keep Holt for a month. They have had free board, but hopes Boulton & Watt will still pay them a full allowance as they have deserved it. Wishes to know the full price of the engine. |
