Slim book containing pen, ink and wash plans of Consolidated Mines. In the front have been fixed the following drawings:
Sketch of Dolcoath mine shafts.
Drawing of Wheal Chance delivered by Mr. Harris.
The plans are very similar to those in MS 1381. A memorandum listing the contents and giving the title as “Wheal Virgin Plans” will be found in Matthew Boulton Papers (Matthew Boulton, Special Subject Files, Cornish Mines). The two items fixed in the front were probably removed from the bundles of Cornish Mine papers. |
