Docketed “Orders 2 38 inch cylinders, nozzles etc. for the Leman steamer to be consigned to Mr. Julius Bordiez, London. Expect to launch the vessel in March next and hopes to have the cylinders etc. shipped by the end of January to enable them to start the boat in May. Has communicated details of the Danube iron boat to Mr. Waterman of the Admiralty and wishes Mr. Brown to confer with him respecting situation of engines. Dimensions of that vessel. Has confidence in Mr. Waterman’s judgement.” |
