| Description | Letters and papers relating to John Wilkinson’s dispute with Boulton & Watt, from 1775 to 1796. The dispute followed on from the falling out John had with his brother William. William subsequently informed Boulton & Watt of various engines that John had made without Boulton & Watt’s consent. The material in this bundle was assembled as evidence for Boulton & Watt’s claims for engine premiums, and it is divided into five smaller bundles, as follows:
