| Description | Letters from James Watt Jr. to William Creighton, head of the Drawing Office, from 1827. The letters are generally simply addressed to “Boulton Watt & Co.” but they were received and docketed by Creighton in the Drawing Office. The bundle also includes a letter dated 20 July 1827 addressed to Gilbert Hamilton, who worked in the Drawing Office with Creighton.
This bundle was examined by Henry Hazleton in the 1890s, as it has a card cover in the same style as the previous large bundles. |
