1029. Crane & Co., Norwich Water Works (JA). Oct. 1832. 1 item. 16 horse power independent crank engine, with 23? inch cylinder, 3 foot stroke, parallel motion, cast iron beam, cast iron connecting rod.
Reverse plan of the engine and boiler houses and pumps, longitudinal section of the boiler, cross-section of the boiler house and longitudinal section of the engine house, cross-section of the engine house and pumps (4 drawings on 1 sheet). The sheet bears a letter code.

For Crane & Co. Water works, Norwich, Norfolk. The engine was originally made as a 14 horse, but converted to a 16 horse. The engine was never erected for the water works, but sold to Grout Baylis & Co. for their silk mill in Norwich.
