60 horse power side lever boat engine for land, with 42 inch cylinder, 4 foot stroke.
Also gas lighting apparatus.

Direct copy general plan of the engine and boiler houses, gearing room, situation of retorts and purifying house, mill etc.; reverse plan of the engine house, side view of the engine, plan of stones over the tunnel, cross-section of engine house, view of stones in engine house looking from gearing room (coloured drawing), plan of the boiler house, longitudinal section of boiler house, cross-section of the boiler house; sketch of end of fly wheel shaft, sent by Wren & Bennett; sketch of fly wheel shaft, sketch of crank shaft and fly wheel - sketches by William Bennett, sent to the Foundry; note from Hollins Hunt to Gilbert Hamilton (not dated) with sketch plan of position of injection pipes. For Samuel Greg & Co. Lowerhouse Mill, Bollington, Cheshire. The firm bought a second 60 horse boat engine in 1835 [see Portfolio 5/1045b]. The Bollington mill was later run by William Greg.
