For George Cheetham & Sons. Textile mill, Stalybridge, Cheshire. Cheetham & Sons bought two 20 horse boat engines for land; this engine and engine OR in 1832 [see Portfolio 5/1047]. The drawings show the two engines to be erected in a line. The firm also bought two 60 horse boat engines for land in 1833 [see Portfolio 5/1049].
