Engine with 36 inch cylinder, 7 foot stroke, parallel motion, cast iron beam. Engine later sold to The New River Co.
Reverse longitudinal section of the engine and well and cross-section of the boiler and plan of the well (partially coloured), plan of the engine and boiler houses, plan of the tunnel, longitudinal section of the boiler, cross-sections of the engine house; sheets of drawings of catch pins, parts of pump etc. sent to the Foundry. The reverse drawings bear letter codes.

For the Commissioners of the Eau Brink Cut. Pumping engine, Eau Brink Cut, Norfolk. The engine was sold circa 1835 to the New River Co., who erected it at Stoke Newington in London. Drawings made for the New River Co. were placed in the same book as the original Eau Brink Cut drawings. A 50 horse engine was later erected alongside this engine at Stoke Newington [see Portfolio 5/1083].
