Single-acting engine, with 26¼ inch cylinder, 6 foot stroke, parallel motion, cast iron beam. Reverse longitudinal section of the engine house, cross-section of the engine house, cross-section through the cistern, plan of the engine house; catch pins etc. - reverse drawing; working barrel, clack seats etc. - partially coloured original and partially coloured reverse drawings; memorandum and sketches by Henry Creighton of the engine house, the existing engine etc. (Creighton's memorandum also contains notes on an order by the Carlisle Twist Co. and progress of E. For the Glasgow Water Works. Pumping engine, Sidney St., Glasgow. This engine was the third engine to be placed in the Sidney St. engine house.
