Tracings sent with the specification: 1 - plan of the engines and boilers; [nos. 2-4 wanting]; 5 - details of pumps; [nos. 6-7 wanting]; 8 - stand pipe and foundation plate; 9 - details of sluices to culverts; 10 - balance gates showing floats and working gearing etc.; 11 - sluice gates; 12 - proving machinery.
"Plan No. 1 - Memoranda for Engines & Boilers & their houses" - pencil notes etc. giving weight, dimensions etc. of engines with 52 inch cylinders and 10 foot strokes; calculations, estimates and abstracts of costs (includes some calculations based on engines for Glasgow Water Works) - 4 sheets.
