Reverse drawings of nozzle and trumpet pipes and valve frame, side view of working gear, front view of working gear, longitudinal section of the ram (partially shaded), plan of the ram, plan of the pipes and wells (these last 3 drawings were re-used in Jan. 1804); draft [?] drawing of part of the working gear; coloured map of Falmouth and the Martha Brae River, with sheet of notes marked "Mr. O'Conner here - Memorandums made the 27 Nov. 1800"; memorandum - "Explanations & Remarks relative to the Drawings of the Ram for the Falmouth Water Works 1801" - 3 sheets, with 1 sheet of notes and addenda"; coloured section of the ram and map of Falmouth and Martha Brae showing the location of the ram and reservoir, marked "see Mr. Lawson's letter of 22 Jul. 1804"; original portfolio cover, with press copy drawing of pipes etc. stuck inside. The reverse drawings bear letter codes.

For the Falmouth Water Co. Ram for pumping water from the Martha Brae River to Falmouth, Jamaica. The ram was invented by Aimé Argand, and patented in England by Boulton & Watt.
