Single-acting engine, with 48 inch cylinder, 8 foot stroke, parallel motion, cast iron beam.

Reverse plan of the engine house and boilers, cross-section of the engine house through the cistern, view of the lever wall, longitudinal section of the engine and boiler houses, cross-section of the boilers, longitudinal section of boiler, section and plan of the pump well; 24 inch pump - partially coloured reverse drawing; sketch and pump and clack sent to the Foundry; coloured section and plan of the reservoir, River Medlock, site of the engine house etc. marked "copied from Mr. Rennie's plan". The reverse drawings bear letter codes.

For the Manchester Water Works. Reservoir pumping engine, near Beswick, Manchester. The drawings show two engines, but only one was ordered in 1810.
