Two 60 horse side lever boat engines, with 42 inch cylinders, 4 foot strokes. Power increased to 70 horses 1828.

Cross-section of the boat and engines, front view of boiler and section of vessel "at frame 16", longitudinal section of engine room etc., plan of engine deck beams, plan of engine sleepers, longitudinal section and plan of engine and boiler platforms, gangway wale and paddle case framing - reverse drawings (made in the London office?); section and plan of boiler - partially coloured original and reverse drawings; paddle wheel and shaft, upper headstock frames, working gear and balance weights etc. - partially coloured original and reverse drawings; injection gear, eccentric gear and reversing rod etc. - original and reverse drawings; hand pump and gearing - partially coloured reverse drawing; piston and air pump rod, throttle valve gearing - partially coloured original drawings; balance weight gearing, cylinder cross-bar - partially coloured original and reverse drawings. Most of these drawings bear letter codes.
Also the following later items: notes re the new cylinders (also new cylinders for James Watt) - 3 small sheets sent to the Foundry and stuck together, Sep. 1827; sketch for new slide valves; slide valve and eccentric - partially shaded drawing made in the London office, Jun. 1828; section and plans of boiler - original and 2 reverse drawings (one of which is partially coloured) made in the London office, Jul. & Sep. 1833; sketch of branch openings for new slide valves - partially shaded drawing and tracing made in the London office, Jan. 1835. All of these drawings except the notes to the Foundry bear letter codes.
