Description16 horse power double-acting sun & planet engine, with 21ΒΌ inch cylinder, 5 foot stroke, parallel motion.

Reverse general view of the engine, reverse plans and sections of the engine and boiler showing winding barrel and framing (the dimensions for the winding barrel at Walker Colliery are also noted on one of the plans); framing and cistern - reverse drawings; working gear - coloured reverse front and side views; fly wheel, framing and wheels for winding barrel, outer end plummer blocks (direct copy), small cross-section of boiler, shaft, plummer blocks for barrel shaft, wheels and teeth, boiler steam pipe socket, working gear catches (all reverse); "Plan of the Ground and Erections near the Charlotte Pit, Benwell Colliery, 1795" showing shaft, buildings, horse gin, section of the ground etc., with sketch of the engine pinned on. All the drawings bear letter codes.
